A one-sided tie against Newhills at home in the Benachie league (final score 37-66 to Newhills) ended our gents’ hopes of promotion to Section A. On a happier note, our seniors had great success in the Scottish this week. Our gents won through to the semi-finals, beating Kemnay 13-11 to move forward and face Cruden Bay at Ellon next Thursday. Our senior ladies went one better, beating Balgownie A by 17 shots to 12. Lorna, Margaret, Marion and Eileen Moir will play off against Balgownie B at Harlaw at 10am on Saturday for the title. Very well done to both teams!

Unfortunately, our gents pairs couldn’t make it three out of three, losing to Grant Campbell and Lee Thomson from Ellon at Oldmeldrum.
