Week 2 of the Benachie League saw Belhelvie go down to a narrow defeat at Newmachar with a final score of 47-40. The tie was closely contested throughout; Belhelvie taking the lead for the first half of the game and the scores level after ten ends. Unfortunately. Our gents exited the Forbes Hendry this week as a narrow victory at home against Balgownie wasn’t enough to overturn an away deficit. Good luck to Balgownie in the next round.

There was no game for our ladies this week as the Craigie Ladies league fixture against Newmachar was postponed until 30th May.
