A quick round-up of some recent results. Our gents are still in the Benachie Knock-out fours, having seen off Dyce at home last Thursday. The semi-final is to be held on 10th August at Rothienorman. Unfortunately another extra-end defeat did for our triples as they came super close to defeating a strong Tarves side, again at Belhelvie.

Our ladies were out last night in the Crowmallie Cup against Newhills. Unfortunately a hard-won 1 point victory at Newhills was overturned by a deficit and so it is Newhills who progress. Our gents are also out, having lost both home and away against Pitmedden in the second round.

Please mark Friday 4th August in your diaries for our Try Bowls! event this year. It will be a fun evening with members on hand to show newbies the ropes, a trick shot challenge and fun games with the Bowlsparc kit.

Food will be served and a bar will be available. There’ll be a quiz at the end of the night too! Remember to tell your friends and family and if you can help out by distributing some posters it would be much appreciated. You can find these on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.
